Classes begin tomorrow. We have enjoyed our break but, we are ready to DANCE!

We want to remind you of our dress code and safety
requirements for dance classes at Wasatch Arts Center. Please remember
for your dancer's safety no gum is allowed during class and no jewelry should be worn. Hair MUST be pulled back away from the face and off the neck.
Dance Class Dress Code:
Ballet 1 and up: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled back into a BUN.
Jazz: Black jazz pants, black leotard, fitted t-shirt or tank top, black jazz shoes. Hair pulled back.
Ballet/Tap Combo: leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes. Tutus or skirts may be worn for dancers under 5. Hair pulled back.
Creative/Ballet Combo: leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Tutus or skirts may be worn for dancers under 5. Hair pulled back.
Tap: Black jazz pants or knee length shorts or mid-calf capris, black fitted t-shirt or tank, black tap shoes. Hair pulled back.
Hip Hop: Yoga or sweat pants or shorts, t-shirt, No jeans. No bare feet. Dancers MUST wear SHOES. Hair pulled back.
Modern: Yoga or sweat pants, fitted t-shirt or tank, bare feet. Hair pulled back.
Dance Class Etiquette:
Dress Appropriately. Please come prepared to dance! Proper attire helps the dancer move and the teacher is able to provide corrections.
Attend Regularly. If you have to miss please let the teacher or school know in advance.
Arrive on time. For your dancer's
safety please do not miss the first 15 minutes of class. Dancers warmup
during this time. A good warmup prevents injuries. If you are late
please stand at the door and apologize to the teacher and ask to
participate.
Please ask permission to leave class for any reason.
