Christmas Recital

Friday, December 5, 2014

1.  Dress Rehearsal is held at South Hill Middle School, 13508 S. 4000 W. Riverton, UT. 

2.  Please arrive 15 minutes EARLY.  Stage time is when we will be ON the stage.  We usually run ON TIME.  We are unable to wait or go back and re-rehearse a number if a dancer is late.

3.  Dancers should arrive in costume, with makeup and hair done. 

4.  Plan on about 45 minutes for rehearsal from arrival to finish. 

5. Check in:  There will be a table set up in the hallway with an assistant to direct you to the correct dressing room.  Dancers check in or sign in at the dressing room. 

6. Dancers will wait with their teacher and assistants in assigned dressing rooms until their stage time.   
   
   
7. Parents will not be allowed backstage during the dress rehearsal.

8. At the end of their rehearsal time we invite one parent to come get your dancer at the dressing room. 

9. The dancer’s safety and happiness are our primary concerns.  HAVE A WONDERFUL REHEARSAL!

Parent's Observation Week is next week.  Parents are invited into class the last 15 minutes.  Don't forget your camera!

Bring a Friend Week!

 

We are getting excited to meet your friends this week!  Students are encouraged to invite a friend of their own age to come to class with them! This is an amazing way for the students to share their love of dance!  Dancers will be entered in a drawing for 2 FREE movie tickets!  PLUS, if your friend signs up for dance you will receive a $10 credit on your account as a thank you gift!

Introducing:  Oquirrh Mountain Ballet Company

A Community Ballet Company open to EVERYONE age 6 to adult.  Oquirrh Mountain Ballet will be performing the NUTCRACKER this December.  Auditions will be September 5 and 6 @ Wasatch Arts Center.  OMBC is directed by Alice White with Jessica Yergenson as Choreographer.  Visit  www.facebook.com/oquirrhmountainballet for more information.
